Oh wow why school is so busy? Essays, mid-terms, proposal oh well I still found time to write a bit more about Singapore. After visiting the beautiful Botanical Gardens we hopped on the bus and went to Orchid road, the street with the most expensive shopping. The street was build after Singapore declared independence and its considered as one of the main streets in Singapore. Still cannot believe Singapore is a city and a country. We walked on Orchid unfortunately not too much shoppingJ but one day for sure and then decided to head back to our hostel and get ready for the party.
To party we went to Clark Quay which is the bars district with bunch of restaurants and clubs and bars. The place is so clean and modern and the atmosphere is amazing. The first thing we saw is a clinic just to be precise a BAR clinic you can get your drinks in infusions and other crazy things but its costs 40CDN for a drink which is outrageous in my mind. Then we decided to have a drink I got the Singaporean sling, which was good but cost 18CDN, conclusion you cant drink in Singapore and then of course party.
The next day we decided to go to the Marina Bay hotel which was huge. It s a whole complex they have their own casino, theatre, a mall – in which you can take a Gondola, and they are still building more complexes around it. The hotel is huge, and the only thing I did not enjoy is the amount of people in the hotel, very crowded. We bought the tickets and went upstairs the view was amazing the whole city of Singapore on your palm, and the pool was fascinating. Too bad only the guest can swim in the pool, but no worries one day I will swim thereJ. I was surprised that people who stayed there were pretty young even though its not the cheapest hotel.
write some more :)
