Monkeys - Can I be one?

How should I start? First of all I am glad to be back in residence, in my small bed, with my favorite pillow. After 8 hotels in 2 weeks I realized that I might never be able to go on a tour around the world that consists of 12 months of travelling. Needless to say it was all worth it, and we had a great time. Thailand was awesome, and so was Hong Kong. I feel like writing about Thailand first and then about HK even though the order is reversed.
So I will start with Phuket, we arrived to Kata beach, which was pretty nice but way too crowded, and way too many Russians. All the menus were in Russia, 80% of the people around us were Russian, basically I felt like I am in Sochi for those who know what I am talking about. If you go to Phuket go straight to Phi Phi or Krabi or whatever your destination is, this is my advice. Staying in Phuket is worth it if you want to see a Ping Pong show, ladyboys, hookers, old men, and maybe some elephants in between. On the other hand Phi Phi is amazing with lots of bars, restaurants, great beaches, and great hotels. The funnies story I can recall is a monkey trying to attack me.

Oh well the famous buckets - i would love to know who invented this

We went to monkey beach and I was just standing chilling with the monkeys when all of the sudden one of them started running towards me, and grabbed my leg. Was not the most pleasant experience since I had no idea if he/she is going to bite me or not. I ran to the water and luckily escaped safely – crazy monkeys what can I say. Another thing we saw is 3 monkeys around one monkey pleasuring him, which was very funny to watch, and kind of disturbing in the same time. When in Phi Phi it is definitely worth going to the beach parties lots of people go there, drink from buckets, and party. About Buckets I personally think its fun, but you can become an alcoholic, seen some very trashy people on the island just totaling those buckets and drunk at 7pm. Oh well, back to Thailand, massages are great I think massage can never be a bad thing☺. Thailand is way richer than Philippines so there was no major culture shock, I mean there was none whatsoever. People are very nice a friendly, except one waitress who wanted to beat up some girl from Mexico. We still do not know what happened but I guess Thai girls can get aggressive. If you are phi phi go see the fake Thai boxing – its more like a show but before that they let people from the crowd fight and its cool to watch, especially girls fighting. If you are a guy I do not recommend you fighting because they don’t put people according to their weight category, so one of you can end up with some muscle man and then on the floor:)
