Macau in 24 hours

Just got back from a crazy 24 hour trip to Macau, for those who have not visit yet GO.
We left the University and went to get a ferry from China ferry terminal and decided to get one-way ticket since we had to clue when we are coming back. The ferry takes approximately an hour and then you are in the Las Vegas of China. Once we arrived we had to go through customs so pretty much we basically visited another “country”. I believe after this exchange I will require a new passport, which by the way is only less then a year old. Once we arrived we found out that this weekend there is a conference, preparation for Formula III, and China’s Prime-Minister is visiting, hence all the hotels are booked and if they are not they are double the price.
In the ferry terminal a guy offered us a tour around the city (a guided tour) and after negotiating we agreed, which was a great idea, for those who are going to Macau I suggest doing the same thing if you want to see the city and you have only few hours.
The tour lasted 4 hours and we visited main touristic attractions and some of the casinos. Macau reminded me of Asian Europe; Asian people, European architecture. The casinos are huge and very beautiful; thousands of people are gambling in every casino. The city is very clean, and definitely worth seeing. For those who like some  extreme go to the Bungee jumping, it looked very cool from far away, and very scary at the same time. After our tour was done we went met up with some more friends and went to have Portuguese food at Fernando’s, again I would recommend, very delicious, and you can  share the food, its what we have done in order to try the most dishes.  Afterwards we decided to go to the Venetian, which was beautiful, and now I want to see the Vegas one to compare. There was hundreds of designer store in the casino, actually in all the casinos. Our friend won 200$ so maybe it is actually worth gambling, even though there is more chances of loosing. I would say the Venetian, MGM are definitely worth visiting. The flower garden in the MGM is beautiful.
