The flight and first day in Asia

I arrived at the Ottawa airport and was told that I am 13lbs over my limit, what a great start of the trip. But everything worked out at the end; we rearranged some stuff and put in the other suitcase, and some Alexei took home.
The flight to Chicago was super short and the tame at O’Hara airport passed by super fast. I saw few soldiers that returned from Iraq, were  very young by the way. The flight to HK was pretty long, even thought I slept a lot (I had an empty seat next to me) and woke up only for food. The guy next to me was wearing all nock off cloths and had a Gucci and Louis Vuitton purse, and a Rolex watch (but he was seating in economy with me).
We arrived to the airport received our bags and went to look for a taxi. The drivers did not understand where we want to go, but good think we had the information written down in Cantonese to show them. Our driver was an Asian lady very cute and was trying to communicate with us but she knew very little English. They wheel is on the right side by the way which is quite cool and first time for me riding a car like that. The ride from the airport was amazing you see the water and the mountains, but it is super hot as they were expecting a storm.
We arrived at the University which is situated on top of the mountain and the view is absolutely gorgeous (pictures to follow) but the rooms  in our dorms are super small. Everything is clean and tidy, did not eat anything yet jet-leg
does not help. But today I am going to explore more and hence write more.

  1. Lol I think the guy who was sitting beside you spent so much money on Rolex watch and Louis Vuitton purse that he could no longer afford flying bussiness class... lol great detail though! Love
